Lady GaGa's wide eyed look in her video for "Bad Romance" has inspired fans to wear potentially hazardous contact lenses. The look is inspired by Japanese anime and achieved by wearing circle lenses. These lenses, which have not been approved by the FDA, make eyes appear larger beacuse the lense covers some of the white of the eye. The lenses can cause serious damage to the cornea bacuse they are not properly fitted. Oh what we do in the name of fashion!
